She is one of the most caring and loving people I have ever known! I guess it's been about 15 years now that she's been caring for our cats. She has ALWAYS gone above and beyond when it comes to our "babies". Calling our home in the late hours just to check on how they're doing, shows the ultimate compassion she has for animals. I thank God for the day Dr. Connelly came into our lives. She is not just our veterinarian, but our friend. We love you, Dr. Connelly! I have the utmost respect for Dr. Connelly. I'm so sorry about the German Shepard and I hope he survived, but he was your sign to take science classes and become a vet. Everyone at CAH is the best! Thanks again and God Bless You! We have had many vets over the years to care for our cats, but NEVER found one with so much compassion, and love that Dr. Connelly had shown us. To call us on a regular basis, just to check on our "Snowball", goes above and beyond the call of duty. We are truly blessed to have her in our lives! If it weren't for her, Snowball would not still be in our lives today. He is now going on 19 years old, has lived with kidney disease for six years, has high blood pressure, dementia, and recently has gone blind, but is still hanging in there!!! Two months ago, his bloodwork showed normal levels for his kidney function for the first time in six years! Dr. Connelly calls Snowball her "miracle cat". So do we! When the Doctors were telling us we would needed to get rid of our dogs because my husband needed a bone marrow transplant Dr Hess assured us that keeping them was absolutely the right thing to do and would cause no him because she too has felt the amazing comforting powers and unconditional love that an animal can give a sick person and their family members!!! Thanks you Dr Hess!!!! And you have given my daughter Huntyr one more reason to become a Vet!!!! And that is why she is our Vet!!!!!
