A Brief History
A trip
from Keystone Avenue to Summit Ridge Drive is a five
minute drive. But for Community Animal
Hospital, this journey took 27 years. For CAH,
this was not just a two mile ride; this was an
evolutionary journey.
CAH was
born quietly in a small house on Keystone Avenue in
1975. Dr. Koehm became an owner in 1978 and he
had a vision. A vision of a practice that
would utilize the most advanced technology,
knowledge, and skills provided by a team of
dedicated doctors and technicians. This team
would treat all patients as members of the family.
Each doctor would concentrate on a specific area of
expertise and become the best in that field.
This practice would be different than any other in
northern Nevada. While using innovative
technology and sophisticated equipment, CAH would
preserve the personal touch with our clients and
retain that “down home” familiarity of Keystone
Avenue.
These
two practices were only two miles distant, but in
reality they were a world apart.
In
January of 2005 we arrived geographically and
philosophically at Summit Ridge Drive. Our
dreams have come true. But our journey will
never be done. We will always strive to
improve our service for our clients and their
special family members.
