Dr. Connelly earned a bachelor's degree in Science (CSU) and a master's degree in Cell Biology (UNLV). In 1993 she was awarded a degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (CSU). 

 

Since graduating from CSU, she has resided and practiced medicine in Reno, Nevada. The 2002-2003 school year found Dr. Connelly dividing time between Reno and Davis, California, as she completed a fellowship for advanced studies of ultrasound.  Dr. Connelly's other professional interests include laser surgery, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, oncology, geriatric medicine, pediatrics, and internal medicine, including endocrinology.

 

Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Connelly relaxes with quilting and other crafts. Outdoor recreation includes hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping, and horseback riding. Sharing the top of her hit parade are music, skiing, and of course her husband, Dr. John Koehm.
