We offer both rigid and flexible endoscopy services that enables us to look inside body cavities and various organs. We use this advanced type of imaging to closely examine the bladder, lungs, and nasal cavity.  Endoscopy also enables us to look into the abdominal (abdomen) and thoracic (chest) cavities, which enables us to visualize the various organs within. The organ of interest can then be biopsied if it does not appear normal. Endoscopy allows these procedures to be done with very small incisions and is much less invasive than traditional surgery.  The images can also be magnified, allowing very close examination of the organs. Endoscopy is also a helpful tool that can be used to look at the coelomic cavity of reptile patients.  We also use endoscopy for birds both to evaluate body cavities and to sex them. This is a wonderful diagnostic tool that aids our ability to diagnose many common conditions.
