Julie - LVT, VTS (Dentistry)
In 2002 Julie received her Veterinary Technician license after completing the technician program at the Community College of Southern Nevada. Her long history in the veterinary field began in 1987 and continues today. Julie started working at Community Animal Hospital in 2002 and is a very valuable part of the dental team. Besides working at the hospital, Julie enjoys being with her family, fishing, and camping.

Heidi - LVT
Heidi has worked at CAH since 2005, graduating from
VASE and passing her Licensed Veterinary Technician exam in 2009. Previously she worked with the elderly in retirement homes. When Heidi is not at work she enjoys camping and hiking with her husband, Eric, and her dogs, Sadie and Sage. Heidi is very athletic and played softball for thirteen years. She even played a year of softball in college. She had been named MVP (Most Valuable Player) for two years.

Ben - LVT
Ben
was raised in
Antioch
,
California. He attended
Los
Medanos
College for two years. Ben has worked at CAH
since 2005, graduating from VASE, and passing his
Licensed Veterinary Technician exam in 2010. Previous work
experience includes being a contractor's
assistant for three years remodeling
kitchens and bathrooms. He likes to spend
his free time relaxing at home.
He also volunteers at Animal Ark, a
local wildlife sanctuary nestled in the
hills of
Reno,
Nevada . His true passion is to work with exotic

Liz - Veterinary Assistant (LVT in Training) Liz graduated from UNR with a degree in communications and journalism. She has two dogs; a Border Collie named Sassy and a Lab/Shepherd mix named Nick. They both live on a beautiful farm in Tennessee with her parents and have 200 acres to run around on which makes them very happy dogs. When she isn't going working, Liz enjoys watching TV and mini golfing.

Melissa - LVT in Training
Melissa has a Bachelors Degree from UNR and has recently passed her National licensed technician exam.
Melissa was voted "Employee of the Quarter" for Oct - Dec 2011 for her attention to detail, dedication, and caring personality
